Small crocodile shears are portable industrial equipment specially used for cutting metal materials. They are named because of their blade shape similar to crocodile mouth. They are mainly used for cutting scrap steel, steel bars, profiles, copper and aluminum and other metal wastes. They are efficient, flexible and easy to operate. They are suitable for small recycling stations, processing workshops and narrow working scenes.

Core structure
1. Blade and blade
The upper and lower blades are made of high-strength alloy steel (such as Cr12MoV), which has high hardness and strong wear resistance, and can shear metal with a thickness of 10-50mm.
The "crocodile mouth" opening and closing structure has concentrated bite force and high shearing efficiency.
2. Hydraulic system
The core power source, small machines mostly use electric hydraulic pumps or diesel power, providing 6-60 tons of shearing force.
Equipped with hydraulic cylinders and control valve groups to achieve fast opening and closing of the blade and precise shearing.
3. Body and base
Compact steel structure body, light weight (350-1900kg), some models are equipped with moving wheels or detachable design for easy transfer.
Fixed base or anchor bolt installation to ensure operation stability.
4. Control system
Manual/semi-automatic operation mode, buttons or foot switches control the shearing action.
Some models are equipped with pressure sensors to prevent overload damage to the blade.
Advantages
1. Efficient and flexible: a single shearing takes only 5-15 seconds, suitable for processing irregular metal scraps.
2. Space-saving: small size (occupying about 1-3 square meters), suitable for narrow environments such as workshops and recycling stations.
3. Low energy consumption: the power of the electric motor type is usually 3-7.5kW, and the energy consumption cost is low.
4. Safe and reliable: equipped with two-hand operation buttons and protective covers to reduce operation risks.
