Electrostatic separator is a device that separates materials based on their conductivity. It uses the different forces of the electrostatic field on charged particles to efficiently separate the conductor and non-conductor components in the mixed material. It is widely used in resource recycling, mineral processing, electronic waste treatment and other fields, and is especially suitable for separating different electrical materials such as metals, plastics, and glass. It is usually used in conjunction with a copper granulator machine.

Core structure
1. High-voltage electric field system
High-voltage power supply: Generates 5-50 kV DC high-voltage electric field to provide the electrostatic force required for sorting.
Electrode structure: includes corona electrode (discharge electrode) and static electrode (deflection electrode) to form a non-uniform electric field.
2. Sorting drum
The surface is covered with conductive or insulating materials (such as copper, polyurethane), which serve as grounded rotating electrodes to guide the movement trajectory of materials.
3. Material handling system
Feeding device: vibrating feeder or belt conveyor to ensure that the material is evenly dispersed into the electric field.
Pretreatment module: optional crushing, screening or drying devices can be used to improve sorting efficiency.
4. Separation and collection system
Depending on the difference in the path of adsorption or repulsion after the material is charged, conductor, semiconductor and non-conductor collection bins are set up separately.
